The Government and GPS
What could a 'federal' government agency -- in this case the U.S. Census Bureau -- possibly need, or otherwise plan to do with the exact GPS coordinates of a private U.S. citizen's home?
Her answer is a bit of a stretch. It doesn't really scream "protégé of William Ayers" either. Remember Bill Clinton's style of dealing with a messy civil war?
You've got to understand their mindset, or at least that they do think differently. They like centralization of control. Troops, foreign or domestic, are still individuals with free will. JDAMs are mindless robots. They also like fear. Human troops can be pitied, resisted, befriended. Bombs are so much simpler.
I should have worded that differently in the entry to avoid the confusion. I didn't mean to imply that it was your invention, Mom. Sorry about that, y'all.

Thanks for sharing your take on it.
Thank you for the link Mr. Morris.

ReplyDeleteApologies are not necessary, Mr. Morris. And I do thank you for the link.
