Oklahoma was one of the last frontier states, and has been less diluted with coastal refugees than Colorado or Arizona. Some of the old "sooner" spirit is left!
Yes, Rick, being a little bit redneckish and backward does have its advantages.
Incidentally, since you brought up Arizona, I read yesterday that Phoenix has the next-to-highest kidnapping rate in the world, second only to **drumroll** Mexico City.
